you should try graphite powder. it looks to me like you smear around the pencil and such- like i do- and i really like graphite powder because that's pretty much all you do and the finished product is just as amazing and you don't have pencil marks if you didn't want them.

I usually end up shaving the graphite pencil with a stanely knife, can u actually buy it already in the powdered form? I've never seen it in stores where i live, very limited in art products.
I tend to like the texture of the pencil marks in my work, makes it less 'barbie' like in appearence.
Oh, did you hear new nails album as early as april, mmmmm.
